The brainchild of Nics Bannister – whose training spans Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, compassion meditation and mindfulness, Reiki, Pranayama breathwork techniques, and functional and somatic movement – YWN embraces a no-fuss approach to yoga. Instead, Nics prioritises passion and encouragement, and a first-hand awareness that a consistent, achievable yoga practice will make you feel better in all aspects of your life.
A Hybrid Approach That Moves With You
Drawing on her experience as a dancer and choreographer, every session with Nics leaves room for improvisation; she combines traditional yoga with other teachings from her arsenal of knowledge to cater to the mood, upholding energy and inviting complete presence. Nics’ approach places emphasis on gracefulness, fluidity and strength, both mentally and physically – if we open up space in our bodies, she notes, we open up space in our minds, thus becoming more connected to ourselves.

More About Ywn One-On-One Sessions
Nics offers private one or two-hour sessions that allow for an entirely personalised experience – whether you’re looking to calm your mind and move your body, or adapt to the challenges posed by a medical condition or injury, building up strength and confidence. Some of her clients are recovering from surgery, others are living with chronic illnesses, while others are looking to develop a personal yoga practice on a flexible schedule that works for them. From attending consultations to expand upon your progress together, to helping you transform your lifestyle in meaningful ways (armed with a ‘little black book’ of like-minded wellness experts), Nics’ support extends beyond teaching, and includes homework books, video instructions or pre-recorded sessions to help you sustain your practice in between appointments.
What Ywn Offers
You can work with Nics in a variety of ways, from attending classes – conducted on Zoom or in-person twice a week from Nics’ south London studio – as well as one-off extended sessions and workshops, to signing up to one of her exquisitely curated wellness retreats in magical destinations. Nics also delivers one-on-one sessions, tailored to clients’ specific needs.

“Loved my session with you yesterday. Felt so moved by the idea of being fluid in my body and allowing the release of tension and holding on. I did the dancey thing you taught me and enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Dancing in the kitchen and letting go is the way forward!
